Over 400 communities in the U.S. have tried to provide relief for migraine sufferers (excessive noise), asthmatics (airborne pollutants), shift workers, young children and residents overall from gas-powered leaf blowers, and still effectively allow professionals to collect debris without additional cost to homeowners.

First organized in Abington, PA, in 1998 by George Wrigley and his wife, Mary, a migraine patient, the "LINK" program connects all townships with a common, achievable goal.  The Wrigleys moved to a smaller property in 2003 (after 10 years of effort) and now reside in Rockledge, PA.  They are still activists continuing to raise awareness on this issue.

This unique program is simple:: --

Half throttle* of gas-powered blowers within 150 feet of homes.

(In conjunction with tarps)

* (or whatever variation gets you to 60 plus decibels--i.e., low decibel machines)

"LINK" is endorsed by politicians, environmental groups, government agencies, professionals and homeowners.  And, for the FIRST time ever, a blower company (Echo, Incorporated) has given its blessing to a community program.

After years of effort, organizers feel "LINK" offers immediate relief without  the courts, bans or division of neighbors.  It can be accomplished easily and connects all communities nationwide working on the same goal -- HALF THROTTLE.  Become part of the network today!
